missingWrote a review on Nov 02dark atmosphere
The room felt claustrophobic with no windows. a concrete wall loomed just inches away. The overall vibe was dark and gloomy, exaggerated by a strong chemical smell from cleaning products. Showering proved to be a challenge, as the tap exploded water wildly and then failed to function entirely. Another downside was the early check-in experience, which left much to be desired, as I was denied entry despite prior confirmations.

The location was fantastic, blending easy access to vibrant local neighborhoods with the charm of the old town. For just $42, the room was satisfactory, clean, and had a large shower which added comfort to the stay. However, the pillows were disappointingly thin, and the water pressure was inconsistent, making showering a challenge at times. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall value for this stay was remarkable.

The location next to a beautiful park in the heart of the old town is unbeatable, and the friendly staff made returning to the hotel feel welcoming. Premium meats served were a highlight too. On the downside, the room felt quite cramped, with limited natural light, and there were issues like inconsistent hot water availability. Despite these drawbacks, the atmosphere and convenient access to local attractions stood out.

This was just a good pick for a weekend stopover in Panama City with extraordinarily good value for money. The staff were really friendly and even helped me find a local café with great coffee. Opt for a room on the quieter side if you're sensitive to noise.
